The Festival’s heritage venue with an indoor capacity of 650 and covering 600 m2 located in the Parkes Room of the Conference Centre. This is where you will see traditional Australiana, bush ballads, bluegrass, bush poetry, gospel, blues and folk country music. Key events within this venue include:

The Festival’s main outdoor venue with an grassed seating capacity of 1,000 and covering 829 m2 located near the Festival entrance. This the home of country with a beat and rhythm so expect to experience linedancing, bluegrass, country rock, country blues, swing and a touch of rockabilly. Great toe tapping times at this stage. The carpeted link hallway from the Budawang and Conference Buildings is home to a range of music industry associations and clubs, not just locally, but from across the nation. Here can be found the grassroots country music clubs, dance groups, institutes and festivals that keep the country music industry alive and innovative. This is the place for networking and promoting country music.

Everyone passes through this area as it forms the link between the main concert stages, Music Industry Exhibition and the Canberra Ute Van & Truck Muster. As the home of up and coming amateurs musicians and singers, this area attracts parents, grand parents and youngsters who appreciate those who seek stardom. It also provides the main viewing area for the Teams Challenge event on Sunday:
